Genesis provided Land Planning / Engineering / GISServices to the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), District V, for Interstate 75 in Sumter County, Florida. The projct involved parcel analysis to be utilized by the consultant appraiser in support of the fair market appraisal of (28) 100-level parcels and (4) 800 level parcels in the right-of-way cooridor.

Genesis developed a Data Book which included an overall corridor document that provided aerial maps, zoning, land-use, parcel matrix, and initial engineering analysis per parcel. Genesis then prepared land-use and engineering analysis reports with graphics for individual parcels. The Land Planning / Engineering Analysis generally included:

  • research applicable local, state, and federal regulations including meeting with / coordinate with appropriate governmental and regulatory staff;
  • preliminary parcel analysis;
  • summary parcel descriptions;
  • before condition, acquisition, and after condition sketches as well as existing condition survey;
  • cure plan(s) with associated quantities;
  • letter approval from the municipality;
  • replacement cost new and cure cost proposal if applicable;
  • FF&E and petroleum analysis as applicable;
  • analysis of existing drainage patterns and proposed stormwater management facilities, and grading / topographic review / access.
