This site development project involved site design for a new  8,300 sf Family Dollar retail store. The project is the first development within a larger tract comprising five lots and 4.6 acres. The development is located within an environmentally sensitive closed basin area, which required a large storm water pond due to the volume requirements. Genesis worked with a geotechnical firm and the City of Tallahassee environmental permitting staff to meet the site design needs of the development and the stringent closed basin criteria.

In addition to the local permitting required through the City, permits from Florida Department of Transportation and Florida Department of Environmental Protection were necessary.
