A retaining wall failure during a storm event prompted the Suwannee River Water Management District to seek assistance with the design of a retaining wall that would match the existing improvements and ensure that failure would not occur in the future.

Genesis designed the retaining wall utilizing the existing "Redi-Rock"  components that were part of the failed wall. In order to improve the stability of the wall in future storm events, a sheet-pile retaining wall was specified. The constructed wall achieved the result of providing a restored retaining wall that blended with the existing wall and provided the required resistance to future structural failures.
