Mark Llewellyn, Jr., P.E., Appointed as President of the U.S. Green Building Council, Florida Capital Region

Mark Llewellyn, Jr., P.E., LEED® AP

We are proud to announce that Mark Llewellyn, Jr., P.E., LEED® AP, was recently appointed as President of the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC), Florida Capital Region.

The Florida Capital Region Chapter of the USGBC mission is to have a positive impact on Florida's environment, economy, and social well-being by:

  • Promoting LEED and other sustainable building practices and technologies.
  • Encouraging green and sustainable design, construction, and operation of buildings.
  • Developing green and sustainable building standards, design practices, and technologies.
  • Providing outreach and education to our members and communities.

Mark is a graduate of Florida State University and a Professional Engineer in Genesis’ Tallahassee office with more than 13 years of experience in various areas of civil engineering, including site development, transportation design, traffic engineering, and roadway design. He has worked on numerous projects during his tenure with Genesis, including Gaines Street in Tallahassee, FL; Aruba’s Ringweg 3 Master Plan; and the Florida End to End Trail (Statewide).
