Genesis provided the City of St. Petersburg with Landscape Architecture Services to replace existing landscaping in roadway medians located within SR 55 (US Alt 19/34th Street South), from 30th Avenue South to 54th Avenue South. All existing plant material was removed from these medians. Approximately 11 medians are located within this area. The City desired the placement of palms to augment new "Skyway Marina District" signs located on the east side of 34th Street South near the Pinellas Bayway, and on the west side of 34th Street South near 30th Avenue South.

As part of a tree planting assessment for the City, Genesis is now taking inventory and analyzing up to 20.8 miles of roadway corridors within the City of St. Petersburg for suitability for planting of trees within the right-of-way. This project includes creating a matrix to identify corridor characteristics and appropriate tree plantings for corridors based on the identified characteristics.  It also includes identifying additional roadway corridor segments for review and analysis.
