As a tourist destination attracting visitors from around the world, appearance and aesthetics are a high priority for the City of St. Pete Beach, a community of 12,000 residents with more than 4,000 hotel rooms.  Genesis provided landscape architectural services that included landscape, irrigation, lighting and construction assistance for major roadways throughout the City. Approximately 40 landscape medians, some existing and some new construction, were included in this FDOT-funded enhancement project. Close adherence to prevailing safety and setback criteria are incorporated into the design. Genesis also wrote two successful requests for design variation from FDOT standards in order to fulfill the City's aesthetic goals.
