The proposed Rhythm development is a 1,883-acre Active Adult Retirement Community in Washington County approximately three miles west of US 231. The proposed development includes 3,200 residential units, a Village Center with retail and office space, central water and wastewater treatment plants, and numerous civic amenities. These amenities include an extensive trail network, a grand lawn, an equestrian facility, community gardens and parks.

The environmentally sensitive site is being developed using Low Impact Development (LID) techniques. The developer will comply with the Florida Neighborhood and Yards Program, Energy Star, Water Star, Fire-Wise Community Principles, and International Dark Sky Association standards. The wastewater treatment plant will treat to advanced wastewater treatment standards. The plant will produce reuse quality water that will be used for irrigating common areas. Extensive wetland buffers and wildlife corridors are provided.
