Genesis worked with FSU to provide a Mobility Study for the proposed FSU Earth Ocean and Atmospheric Sciences (EOAS) Facility. Genesis reviewed the impact of removing Antarctic Way, the service delivery access to the new facility and the proposed reconfigured site access at Woodward Avenue. Genesis is also evaluated pedestrian access to the new facility and produced conceptual plans covering pedestrian access, vehicular routes, delivery and service vehicle access, parking, and bus routes. The approximate size of the proposed 6 story EOAS Facility is 140,000 GSF. Genesis observed and evaluated the surrounding area based on the proposed site.

During the course of this project, Genesis also conducted extensive data collection at the project site, which involved field work to document the existing pedestrian and vehicular facilities on and around the project site. Genesis acquired previously completed traffic studies, safety studies, construction plans, and current transit routes to assist in the development of a site plan for the proposed project. Genesis used these studies for the development of the Mobility Study for pedestrian mobility and accessibility, vehicular routes and conceptual site plan review. The Mobility Study provided by Genesis will influence the ultimate design of the EOAS Facility.

Genesis completed the Mobility Study June 2015.
