SR 61 Reconstruction
This complex roadway project required conversion of two miles of four-lane roadway into eight lanes with instreet bike lanes, sidewalks, and underground stormwater conveyance system. Genesis was the prime consultant for this contract which required signal design for six major intersections, structural design for a fly over bridge structure, roadway lighting, and three stromwater retention facilities.
This FDOT project was on a critical schedule which required final plans to be completed within four months. Public information services for this contract included preparation of a three demensional model, meetings with business owners, graphic enhancement of aerial photography, and presentation of public announcements and newsletters.
