Pine Hill Road Paving & Drainage Improvements

Pine Hill Road is an existing 2-lane rural roadway that was experiencing both pavement failure and localized flooding.  The project included the following elements:

• Patch and overlay the existing roadway with structural course to repair the pavement faulure.

• Re-graded a protion of the roadway to prevent ponding and improve drainage within the travel lanes. 

• Replace an existing paved flume with a heavy duty trench drain to improve roadway safety by removing stormwater from the roadway.

• Prepare contract documents in accordance with the Community Develoment Block Grant (CDBG) funding requirements.
