Dunedin Community Center - LEED Certified

Genesis Group provided boundary, topographic survey, conceptual, design, permitting and construction services for the new Dunedin Community Center located on the city's 55 acre Highlander Park tract in Dunedin, Florida.  The building was designed and constructed to meet Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) standards for a "green" building.  This ensured the use of sustainable design practices that included measures for the building to be environmentally-friendly. 

Genesis Group designed the site-related portion of the project including landscape and irrigation design, (using predominately native and drought tolerant plants), and civil engineering services to meet these LEED requirements and provided certifications accordingly.

The center was recently awarded a SILVER rating from the USGBC, earning 35 out of 36 points submitted.
