SantaFe Village

This project includes redevelopment of an existing medical campus located just outside of the City of Gainesville in Alachua County, FL, known as the SantaFe Health Care DRI. This campus includes the existing Shands Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Hospital, Haven Hospice, and the AvMed corporate offices. Genesis Group updated the DRI and prepared a companion Comprehensive Plan Amendment to create a mixed-use, transit-oriented design project for the redevelopment of this medical campus.

Services included master plan design and program development for one of Alachua County’s first transit-oriented design (TOD) developments that support a proposed rapid transit system throughout the County connecting to other key areas of the County. Proposed development includes a 250 room hotel, 1,473 multi-family units, over 200,000 s.f. of retail/service use, and over 350,000 s.f. of office use.
