Beach Marine

Genesis created a mixed use Master Plan to redevelop an existing industrial marina site in Jacksonville Beach, Florida. This development included single family residential, townhomes, Urban House Condominiums, Big House Condominiums, a hotel/timeshare building, clubhouse, commercial, office, and restaurants. The walkable community was designed to create an axis from all points of the development to the marina, and surrounding wetlands / Intercoastal Waterway.

To consolidate the boating facility with the existing boat ramp, the design included the relocation of the existing boat storage facility to the western portion of the property. The development provided over 110 acres of land to the City of Jacksonville Beach to use for expansion of the existing public boat parking area, environmental interpretation center, and passive park.
