Chipley Master Drainage

Genesis assisted another consultant with design services under a Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funding program, providing a stormwater model of the City of Chipley and surrounding areas. The model showed areas of flooding concern that contributed to infiltration of the sanitary sewer system operated and maintained by the City. Services included the initial investigation of all drainage facilities within and adjacent to the city limits, environmental investigation of those facilities and determination of any significant impacts that may result from modifications to them, stormwater modeling of all contributing basins, preparation of a final report of our findings including recommendations to help solve the drainage problems, and presentation to the City Commission to review all findings and recommendations.
