R. O. Ranch Equestrian Center

R. O. Ranch is a 2,481-acre proposed equestrian park located in Lafayette County, Florida on the Steinhatchee River and is linked to other lands and resources owned and managed by the Suwannee River Water Management District.

Genesis Group prepared a Conceptual Site Master Plan for a regional equestrian park to serve the needs of the public and provide a diverse array of facilities, including event arenas, stables, riding trails, carriage trails, hiking and multi-use trails.

The Conceptual Site Master Plan developed a 15-year plan for the equestrian center and trail network, including equestrian and recreation elements in a phased approach and budget ranges for the various phase elements. The planning concept for the proposed development of R.O. Ranch addressed anticipated functional requirements necessary for optimum usage, future expansion, flexibility, safety and efficiency – creating a unique equestrian venue with the capability to host equestrian events, trail riders, campers, and other general interest visitors.
