Blair Stone Road/Goose Pond Bikeway

Genesis Group served as prime consultant for design of a new 4-lane urban arterial for Tallahassee. In conjunction with the roadway project, a new 12 foot paved bike/pedestrian facility was designed and permitted. This facility became a segment of Tallahassee's 6 mile Goose Pond Bikeway that connects Dorothy B. Oven Park with Tom Brown Park.

The bike/pedestrian facility is adjacent to the roadway but separated by a landscape buffer. Special emphasis pedestrian crossings were required at each major intersection to maximize safety for bicyclists and pedestrians.
