Posner Commons

This regional commercial center is viewed as the “Gateway to Polk County”. The Genesis team was involved in the comprehensive master planning, entitlements, engineering and landscape architecture services for the first phase of the Posner City Center DRI mixed use development.  The design focused on creating approximately 630k sf of retail space on an 80 acre parcel located at the intersection of I-4 and US 27 in Polk County, Florida.

Our team worked with county officials to integrate the design within the Northridge SAP sector plan and existing infrastructure and future improvements to the area. The design utilized extensive landscaping that will be irrigated initially from a well source and will be converted to reclaimed county water when available.
