Miccosukee Community Park

Genesis Group developed a master plan for ultimate buildout of the property utilizing a list of priorities developed by the community. 

The plan included:

• Expansion of parking areas;
• Additional picnic facilities;
• Construction of tennis courts and;
• Installation of a playground for small children.

A sidewalk plan was provided to enhance connectivity to all future elements.

Full construction documents were prepared and permits were acquired to expand the existing ball field into a multi-use facility for adult baseball and youth soccer.

The design included:

• A new stormwater treatment facility;;
• A timber retaining wall; and;
• Regulation height fencing for the base-ball field.

The project included identification of a conservation area for mitigation of tree removals as well as delineation of a walking/jogging trail and lighting for both the ball field and basketball courts.
