Mission San Luis Entrance & Laboratory/Office Building

The continuing expansion to the San Luis Mission Archeological Park required a more visible access road along with new facilities for office space and archeological laboratory. Development of a site immediately adjacent to the Park was undertaken to meet those needs. Genesis Group provided a full range of professional services to support development of the property. The site presented several challenges for development, including:

• Significant terrain;
• A closed drainage basin with poorly percolating soils;
• The need for off-site sanitary sewer extensions;
• The construction of right and left turn lanes along SR 10;

Permitting the improvements through the City of Tallahassee Growth Management Department and the Florida Department of Transportation were critical components of the professional services.
