Black Creek Restoration Project

As a subconsultant to CDM, Inc., Genesis Group provided design services to restore the Black Creek Flood Plain, which was historically impeded by the construction of McCracken Road. The restoration included:

 - Removal, realignment and paving of McCracken Road;

- Installation of new culverts;

- Construction of new stormwater treatment facilities;

- Reforestation of the old road bed.

The project also included stabilization of the roadside swales to minimize erosion and construction of a walking trail adjacent to the new roadway alignment.
