Montverde Small Area Plan

Genesis Group prepared a Small Area Plan for a 5,438 acre rural study area that includes the municipal boundaries of the Town of Montverde. The County determined the need for an overall Master Plan to be in place to guide future development based on the increasing development pressures within the study area.

The Plan was prepared through the course of a five month community planning process that included a two day intensive design charrette, three public workshops, and three presentations to the Board of County Commissioners.

The overall Master Plan document contains a land use plan, transportation network plan, greenspace master plan, design guidelines, build-out plan, economic development report as well as implementation strategies.
