Project Announcement: Capital Circle Southeast

Genesis Group and Sandco, Inc. were awarded the design-build project for the 2.5 mile reconstruction of Capital Circle Southeast from a 2-lane roadway into a 6-lane urban facility with sidewalks and bike lanes. Genesis Group will lead the design efforts with support from the following subconsultants: EGS (MBE-environmental), Mehta & Assoc. (MBE-survey) and DRMP (stormwater design and review). Construction documents will be finalized by February, 2008 with construction complete in late 2010.

The winning bid submitted by the Sandco/Genesis Group Design-Build Team for the project was $17,301,325.00 which included a design fee of $977,630.00
