City of Bainbridge, GA Posts Master Plan for Public Viewing

The City of Bainbridge currently manages 1.5 miles of waterfront along the south bank of the Flint River. Their objective is to develop a Master Plan that will optimize connectivity between the Central Business District and these Flint River properties; providing expanded recreation opportunities and related economic growth to the community.

Genesis Group extensively analyzed and documented the existing conditions and developed a Waterfront Connectivity Master Plan that will provide guidance to the City and achieve these goals. Key elements of the plan include a conference center, a 160-room hotel, a historic waterfront park, an environmental education/interpretation center and a swimming complex. All of these waterfront amenities will be connected to the downtown via a 10' multi-use walkway/trail system.
