Jonathan Thornton and Brian Ballengee Receive Florida E.I. Certifications!

Genesis believes in providing training and mentoring opportunities to promote the growth and development for our next generation of professionals. Accordingly, we are excited to announce that two of our young professionals, Jonathan Thornton, E.I., and Brian Ballengee, E.I., have both recently passed the NCEES Fundamental Exam and obtained their Florida E.I. Certifications. As Engineer Interns, Jonathan and Brian perform engineering tasks under the supervision and guidance of a Professional Engineer (P.E.).

Jonathan Thornton, E.I.

Jonathan, a graduate of the University of South Florida, began working at Genesis in 2013 when he started as a summer intern. He is based in Genesis’ Tampa office with experience in the land development field. He possesses various capabilities such as permitting, storm drainage design, site grading, and computer aided drafting/design. His recent project experience includes:

Brian Ballengee, E.I.

Brian, a graduate of the University of South Florida, is based in Genesis’ Tampa office with nearly two years of experience in the land development field. He provides various types of engineering support, such as permitting, water and sewer design, and computer aided drafting/design. His recent project experience includes:
