Tallahassee, FL - Continuing its long standing commitment to support public conservation through enhancement of Florida's natural environment, Genesis Group recently assisted the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission in developing infrastructures within the Guana River Wildlife Management Area. Located only a few miles from St. Augustine, Florida, this 9,815-acre Wildlife Management Area offers abundant opportunities for the outdoor enthusiast including horseback riding, hunting, fishing and bird watching.

Genesis Group's work at the Guana River Wildlife Management Area included access and restroom facilities at the equestrian trailhead located in the northwest quadrant of the Wildlife Management Area. In addition, a handicapped accessible wildlife viewing area was designed and constructed at Booth's pond. This facility also includes a handicapped accessible duck blind for hunting. This is a "one of a kind" facility which involved a host of regulatory permitting agencies along with very careful environmentally sensitive design. Handicapped parking facilities were also incorporated making access to equestrian trails and water related activities more convenient for persons with disabilities.

With offices located in Tampa, Jacksonville, and Tallahassee, Florida, Genesis Group provides planning and design services for private and public clients throughout the Southeastern United States. Our tag line "From Vision to Reality" tells the story of who we are and what we do. We are proud of our association with this project.
