NAIOP, the Commercial Real Estate Development Association (www.naioptb.org), held its 2nd annual Tampa Bus Tour on February 28th, 2013. The tour was an afternoon of networking and information exchange with some of Tampa Bay's top commercial real estate and economic development professionals and deal makers.
Attendees toured key available office and industrial properties as well as development opportunities along the I-75/I-4 corridor.
"This type of open networking event among the Tampa Bay business and development community along with representatives from the Economic Development Agencies is crucial to maximizing the area's potential for economic growth. It's a way of showing off the Tampa Bay area and its existing and proposed office and industrial opportunities as an inviting destination for businesses wanting to relocate to warmer climes and a friendlier business environment.", said Bruce Kaschyk, Genesis' Tampa Division Manager, who along with Kevin Mineer, Genesis Planning Manager also doubled as co-tour guides, each on one of the two tour busses rented for the event.
In addition to providing a tour guide, Genesis donated GIS/Mapping services to create maps for the participants to use during the event. This is Genesis' second year assisting NAIOP with this well attended and fruitful event.
