Genesis is proud to announce the recent win of not one, but two FDOT-District Three Continuing Service Contracts.
On April 19, Genesis was notified that we were selected for the Districtwide Minor Design Contract. This contract could consist of miscellaneous road design projects, intersection improvements, road resurfacing, sidewalk enhancements, signalization, and stormwater improvements.
On May 14, Genesis was also selected for Districtwide Landscape Architecture Services, which will entail landscape design for various FDOT owned facilities across the panhandle. Each contract should begin in June 2012 and last a minimum of two years. Maximum fees for each contract are $1.5 million dollars.
James Sullivan, P.E., Senior Vice President of Genesis will serve as Project Coordinator for both contracts. Jim has over 27 years of Highway Design and Transportation Engineering experience. He has been responsible for numerous major and minor highway design projects for state and local governments and has considerable experience managing large multi-disciplined design teams. His experience includes Project Development and Environmental (PD&E) studies, transportation planning, traffic operations, construction administration and expert witness services. "Genesis is excited to be working with District Three again. It's good to know that FDOT is confident in our firm's ability to meet their needs for these contracts. With these two contracts, our experienced-talented staff will get to work on a wide variety of FDOT projects over the next two years,"
James Gilman, RLA, ISA, LEED® AP is the Senior Landscape Architect for this assignment. He has 16 years professional experience, including numerous roadway landscape enhancement projects.
